THE BASIC STANDARD OF ALL OUR SECURITY INSTALLATIONS:
-
Your vehicle cared for as if it was our own -
Seat covers and rubber floor mats fitted and interior trim protected before we start work -
All joints soldered, and insulated with adhesive lined heat shrink or amalgamating and PVC tape -
All wiring sleeved in conduit, insulation or cloth tape or PVC tape -
Any holes drilled in the vehicle to be rust-proofed, grommeted and sealed -
All vehicles are to be fitted with bonnet pin switches -
Control units to be mounted securely, never left floating under a dash! -
Correct hand-over procedure with you the customer -
Proper service back-up and support on all our products -
A friendly attitude and positive team work!
Please note;
You cannot fit a complex security system like a Clifford or similar product outside a customers house or place of work properly; we often need to strip a vehicle so we need to place interior trim in a clean dry place.
We use mains powered soldering irons so that we can get clean solder joints without damaging the vehicles wiring by overheating the joint. Also you need to insulate the joint, the best way to do this is to use adhesive lined heat-shrink, this is applied using a mains heat gun to heat the shrink so the adhesive flows properly to seal the connection and make the joint water tight. A CIGARETTE LIGHTER IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO DO THIS. A LIT FLAME INSIDE A CAR IS NOT IDEAL, AND I’M SURE WOULD NOT COVERED BY PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE!
